Hi, this is Robert Crossan, the owner of this website, has 17 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of toilets and plumbing systems. After completing the Level 2 Basic Plumbing course in 2005, I started working in both domestic and commercial buildings as a professional plumber. So I can figure out the core difference between different toilet models and brands. It also helped me monitor their work performance and setbacks.

  1. I recently bought a champion max round bowl toilet, and I’m not happy with the way the seat attaches ( constantly comes loose from bowl ). Is there any way I can purchase a new seat with the rubber compression bolts that tighten from top with an Allen wrench, and has rubber gasket between seat and bowl. This is a far superior system in my opinion, and was a strong selling point. Otherwise this toilet is the best on the market. I have installed many as a handyman and never had a callback.
